Spring Bull Gallery is hosting two generations of women artists celebrating the nurturing relationships developed through art in "Nurture & Nature". This group of artists and retired art teachers exemplify the true meaning of the exhibitions title. Veronica Farrell has worked more than 40 years advancing art and touched all levels of academia: public, through college and earned regional recognition and awards. Rose D'Amore love of capturing natures color, atmosphere, and movement brings joy to the viewer. Carol Beagan, after 28 years of teaching art, continues her nurturing ways with Paintbox Pre-school. Catherine McKinnon, another former art teacher, continues to embraces her love of nature and transforms that passion to the canvas.

You are invited come and meet these artist as they explore the nurturing relationship of women and capture the beauty of nature in "Nurture & Nature" at an opening reception on Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. and the gallery will be open until 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 9th for Gallery Night in Newport.
